Sam got to an art college, Alicia decided not to study for a year and to stay with Rufus. Sam's mother's boyfriend, Mark, now lived with her and Annie also got pregnant, something normal for a woman at her age (32).
One day, when Sam went to college, Alicia's ex-boyfriend told him that Roof was his son, and Sam was stupid enough to believe it. But he was wrong. He made Alicia really mad and sad. That's why he then moved back again with his mom and his new dad (and later his little sister, Emily came).
The book ends with another future dream - Sam and his beautiful new girlfriend, Alex, met with Alica and her new boyfriend, Carl at a restaurant. Sam concludes, that he was really busy with his little son and his sister, but still Alicia and him got along well...

Birth
Sam had another dream, where 'he got whizzled into the future by TH'. Roof was older and Sam had to bring him to the hospital and so on.. He had a little sister, called Emily and Mark really lived with them. But he got back to the present.
Time passed, Sam and Alicia were back together and lived at Alicia's, as in Sam's first weird dream. The big day of the baby's birth was approaching. Everybody in school and everywhere knew about it.
It was on a day when Sam went skating at the bowl and his mom came running and telling him that Alicia was in labour at the hospital and that they should hurry. It was hard for Sam to see Alicia, which was in the hardest situation of them all, although none of them had it easy. When Alicia finally gave birth to their son, some song by Rufus Wainwright was playing on the CDplayer - that's where the (stupid) name Rufus / Roof came from. The moms, now grandmothers were discussing his surname, but Alicia wanted Jones. So his name was Rufus Jones.

When Sam got home, he wondered why a police car was standing in front of his house and when he went upstairs his mom was crying and a police man was talking to her. When everyone saw him, they left and he was with his angry mom. Sam didn't really understand why. Annie, his mom, and Alicia were looking all over for him, because he left by not telling anyone where he went or why. His mom said, Alicia was looking desperatly for him - is it because she was pregnant?, Sam feared. He lied to his mother and told her that he ran away because of their divorce and that they don't live together anymore.
In his room he talked to TH and went to sleep. And here is the weirdest part of the book: When he woke up, he was in Alicia's bedroom and she was lying next to him. As usually, Sam tells his TH-poster (TH = Tony Hawk) everything that's going on in his life. He often compares his life with TH's biografy that he already knows by heart. He always gets an 'answer' that makes him feel better and if something wrong happened - Sam blamed TH. Anyway, let#s talk about that later. Let's have everything the way it happened.

After he got there, he threw his cell phone into the sea and was looking for a job, somewhere where he could help out. At a bed & breakfast he helped a rude old man to get down the stairs, which was willing to pay him 20 pounds a day for his help. Sam didn't have much money, only for his ticket back to London, so with thouse 20 pounds he could pay his stay at that hostel (or whatever). But Sam didn't want his life to go on like this - helping an old guy to walk the stairs and find his remote control. He would've had a baby than doing this all the time. So then the next morning he went back home to London.

As life goes..
I shound continue my reading log entries.. So here they come! :)
It was time to screw everything up, as I said in my last entry. Everything was going well, Sam got on well with his mother, since she broke up, in school his art and design teacher asked him, if he wanted to do art in college, which was what he wanted. His life was going on well until he went to a birthday party from a friend of his mom. That woman had turned 50 and had a daughter, which was 16. That's why he actually went. There they both met, the olny teenagers at that 'party' so they started talking. The next day they went out and started dating, fell in love with each other and so on.. Sam's mom wanted to get to know Alicia better, so she came over to dinner. Her parents got to know Sam, because he was at their house every day. He forgot everything else around him and all he was interested in was Alicia. As they met every day, it seemed to be normal for them to have sex. Sam actually didn't mind it and Alicia didn't either. But once an accident happened. Sam didn't put on his condom right. So it happened. You all can imagine. The accident... But noone knew about it, exept Sam. So he felt weird and didn't see Alicia for a couple of days, although he didn't want anybody to think that their relationship is not going well.
His mom was asking him about Alicia, if they had sex or not, and what else was going on with them. So they met again, and a few more times.. but after a while they broke up, because it wasn't like it was before. They didn't feel like it, didn't really love each other any more (sth. which is normal after a few months being with someone in your youth :P).
